Designed and Developed by Central Saint Martins graduate Andraya Farrag, BEDOUIN is a contemporary women’s wear label that aspires to create easy-to-wear collections with a confident, spontaneous style. BEDOUIN’s less is more approach is shaped by the beautiful, nomadic existence of the Bedouin tribes. Encouraging Style Without Borders, BEDOUIN is inspired by the simplicity and independence of nomadic communities from across the globe.
Designed with the contemporary jetsetter in mind, each season draws inspiration from the environment, travel and tradition. Stripped back to create a collection of minimalist, timeless designs, BEDOUIN is designed to live beyond the season. BEDOUIN provides the contemporary woman with travel friendly luxury that honors her love for minimalism. To allow more chance for spontaneity, each item is flattering and versatile making BEDOUIN the go-to brand in her wardrobe. With a focus on high quality crease free fabrics each item is designed to be worn from day-to-night and can be worn one way in the city and another beach side. Tradition meets contemporary each season with a hybrid of masculine and feminine. BEDOUIN combines loose fit silhouettes with feminine silks, or clean cuts with a fresh take on traditional embroidery. The statement collections remain effortless allowing the wearer to stand out from the crowd while looking and feeling relaxed.
Farrag draws inspiration from personal travel experience having worked for Matthew Williamson in London, Marchesa & Edun in New York and DVF in Bangalore, India. With a love for travel and culture, designing a brand based on the world came naturally. Now living between Dubai & London Farrag channels the contrast of her environments into each collection blurring the lines between casual and eveningwear and day to night.
Sustainability is key in the traditional Bedouins lifestyle therefore creating pieces that will stand the test of time is also key to the BEDOUIN philosophy. Quality and attention to detail is the main focus, working with custom made silks from Italy and bespoke embroidery, each collection is designed in London and produced by a small team in Dubai.
