Fashion Forecasting, Blogging and Styling – Elle’s fashion editor Harriet Stewart, blogger Lucy Williams from Fashion Me Now, and brand consultant Alicia Waite discuss the future of fashion.
Harriet Stewart is a fashion stylist and brand consultant and currently holds the position of Associate Fashion Editor at ELLE UK. In her role at the magazine she is responsible for styling shoots, editing the front of book section of the magazine and writing a monthly style column, as well as contributing to digital content and the title’s social media channels.
Aside from her role at ELLE she works with a growing number of freelance clients for whom she styles lookbooks, offers brand consultancy and works as a digital influencer through her personal Instagram channel @harrietstewart.
For ten years, Alicia has worked both brand-side, in content and communications, and at some of the UK’s greatest print and online destinations.
Following stints at The Daily Telegraph, Elle UK, Matchesfashion.com, Net-a-Porter and Stylist Magazine, where she worked alongside industry stalwarts Hilary Alexander, Lisa Armstrong, Lorraine Candy and more, Alicia moved in-house and oversaw content and communications strategy for Anglo-Swedish watch brand, Larsson & Jennings. Having built the brand from start up to multi-million pound global brand in just four years, she left to launch her own consultancy in March 2017.
Alicia now specialises in content strategy, art direction and content creation for an ever-expanding roster of fashion and lifestyle brands.
After starting out working in magazines and trend forecasting, Lucy is now a full-time blogger on her website fashionmenow.co.uk, brand consultant and freelance writer and stylist. Her love of jewellery led to a collaboration with London brand Missoma in 2015 which has since led to two subsequent design collaborations with the brand.
