London Fashion Week: Insiders is pleased to announce the first panel taking place on Sunday 17th February! Join a panel of fashion influencers as they discuss what it means to be an influencer today. The panel will discuss transparency on social platforms, the impact their content can have on followers and the changing face of journalism. This is an essential talk for all budding influencers and those interested in the ever evolving field of digital and social media.
The panel will be moderated by international journalist and Vogue Australia contributor Jiawa Liu of Beige Renegade, and will cover topics ranging from which influencers are doing it best right now, why authenticity is so important and how they are photographers, stylists and art directors rolled into one.
Millie Mackintosh first rose to fame in the series Made in Chelsea and has since spent time as the founder of a fashion label and has been a prominent voice in the fashion and beauty space.
Alex has worked on magazines as a Fashion Editor, writer and Freelance Stylist for the last 15 years. Her blog began in 2012 to showcase her affordable fashion finds, an outlet which was far removed from the glamorous shoots and high end designer looks she was shooting for magazines. Recently, the site expanded to interiors, lifestyle and city guides and Alex works from her office space in North London with her small creative team.
Joel aka “Gallucks” is the man to follow in men’s fashion. Across his blog, YouTube channel and instagram, Joel has garnered himself a worldwide, predominantly male following, and is one of the few British male bloggers on the scene. His content is a hub of the coolest trends in casual and streetwear, delivered amongst a backdrop of minimalist design and futuristic architecture.
Since starting his blog as a hobby Joel has since collaborated with many brands including MatchesFashion, Topman, ASOS, River Island, VisitCalifornia, Mr. Porter and Coach.
